Make the words alive

Projekt realizowany ze szkołą turecką jako efekt rozmów mailowych.
 
The pupils will explore their experiences in learning a new language. Especially learning the new words.They will inroduce their city ,country their school and their life style. While doing these they will benefit their school subjects too such as their hobbies free time activities. The project will be done and exchanged in English. They will prepare video presentations and word documents. In the period of the project, the pupils will discover the similarities and differences between their cultures and types of learning.They will communicate using English, ıct, body language, art, drama and sometimes native language. ( with a school from Izmir, Turkey ).

Our Precious European Peer.
Projekt realizowany z 10 europejskimi szkołami.
Let's know each other very well! We want to know which eating habits our European peers have, what their daily routines are, how they get dressed, what their common hobbies are, what they eat for breakfast, how they decorate their homes, etc.
We are very curious about our European peers' lifestyles. ( with 10 schools )

My dinner table usually has salad, soup, different kinds of vegetable meals, meatball, chicken, fish, etc. What about your dinner table?

I prefer toast for lunch. What about you?

6. What is your favourite drink?

Turkish people like drinking ayran. What dou like drinking?

7. What would you like to eat when you go out with your friends?

You go out with your friends on Sunday, what would you like to eat? Pizza? Hamburger? A traditional meal?

 
Cele projektu.
 

Aims: * To take part in an e-twinning Project and enjoy it * To enrich our inter-cultural skills, social, digital and linguistic competencies and European awareness * To increase our pupils' awareness of European Dimension * To learn some basic expressions from other languages and encourage our pupils to learn different foreign languages as well as English * To use English authentically in the real life context * To make new friends from different countries and establish new links among us * To focus on some desired qualities and feelings such as teamwork, cooperation, solidarity and friendship, empathy, etc. * To learn to truly see through each other's eyes * To help pupils and teachers to develop their technological competencies. * To learn what kind of similarities and differences we have * To learn new recipes and try them in our own kitchens * To strenghten the links among European peers * To look at our Eropean peers' lives in some depth such as which eating habits they have, what their Daily routines are, how they get dressed, what their common hobbies are, what they eat in the breakfast, how they decorate their homes, etc. * To be good photographers and have new hobbies

 

Przebieg projektu.

 

Work process: The Project will last four months January - April. It will finish on the first day of the May. It will be based on real life photos taken by pupils during their Daily lives. Not only photos but also powerpoint slides, short videos and drawings will be used during the Project. Each partner will use the Twinspace of the Project effectively and upload new documents to the Twinspace regularly on time. In the first month each partner will create its own image album and upload its school and city's photos. Album will be renewed whenever new photos are taken. Also in the first month pupils will introduce themselves by using the project journal. The first month will be about meals. Pupils will take photos of their breakfast, lunch and dinner tables and introduce the meals. They can give some recipes if they want. The second month will be about Daily routines and common hobbies. Pupils will take photos during their Daily lives and explain their Daily routines, hobbies and interests. The third month will be about living spaces. Pupils will take photos of their homes and give some info about them such as how they decorate, what kind of things they prefer in their homes. The last month will be about everything which they want to show their European peers. They can take photos of their clothes, traditional dances, grannies, etc. They will be free during the last month. They can take photos of everything they want. During the four months powerpoint slides, short videos, drawings, chat room, e-mails, messages etc. will be used as well as photos.

 

Oczekiwane rezultaty.

 

Expected results: With this project our pupils will - explore Europe first hand through our Twinspace, - practice English during their Daily lives, - enrich their visions, - eliminate their prejudices, - develop positive attitudes, - learn to see from the others' perspectives, - improve and develop their competencies and skills, - gain self-confidence, - remove their barriers, - learn to share and live in peace together. So, all the pupils involved in this project will be more sociable, outgoing, motivated, respectful and peaceful children. It'll increase our pupils' awareness of European Dimension and they will become active European citizens. They'll know their European peers better and have a detailed knowledge of their Daily lives, hobbies, habits, etc. They will be good photographers and have a new hobby, too. Also otur Twinspace will be a good final product!

LA GRANDE GUERRE ET LES CHANSONS DE GUERRE

 

Les élèves vont connaitre les aspects de la vie quotidienne au front, dans les tranchées. Les chansons de la guerre nous disent tous les problèmes quotidiens des hommes qui en guerre ont souffert et qui ont trouvé la mort. La faim, la mort, la peure... Ils vont apprendre que, dans chaque guerre, tous sont égales et tous ont les memes problèmes et la meme espoir.

  • Aims:

    Les élèves vont connaitre les aspetcts de la vie quotidienne au front, dans les tranchées. Ils vont apprendre que, dans chaque guerre, tous sont égales et tous ont les memes problèmes et la meme espoir.

  • Work process:

    On utilisera des presentations ou des vidéos où écouter les chansons en langue originale, avec une tradution dans une autre langue (Anglais ou français) pour une comprehension universelle. Il faudra aussi expliquer les faits historiques qui aident à comprendre les chansons. Une serie de photos pourra etre utile pour une meilleure comprehension.

 

Expected results:

  • Les élèves vont comprendre, a travers des chansons de guerre, tous les aspects quotidiens de la guerre, et -plus important - ils comprenderont que les militaires, les peuples sont égales, des deux cotes du front.
